The fact that it is located in the heart of a town undergoing renovation meant that it had to take on a particular urban responsibility.
We wanted to propose a building that would play an active part in the district’s renewal process, that would fit right in, be respectful of local residents and enhance the city’s image

LOT M, which is triangular in shape, is bounded by rue Birsinger to the east, rue Gisèle Halimi to the north, and by the RFF rights of way on the SNCF railway embankment to the south.
LOT M1, which will house the future headquarters of OPH93, occupies the eastern part of the block, at the corner of rue Birsinger and rue Gisèle Halimi.
The project is designed as a whole over the whole of LOT M.
The future headquarters of OPH 93 (LOT M1) comprises 2 buildings, a linear building to the north and a block to the south. Each of these buildings obeys the geometry dictated by the site, orthogonally to the public and private boundaries.
Between these 2 buildings, to the north and south, a connecting element, a small building-bridge, regulates the meeting of the 2 geometries involved. The north/south traffic axis crosses the north building and impacts the access façade on rue Gisèle Halimi.
Thus, from the entrance, the 2 axes that organise all the premises can be seen in great depth.
